Last weekend I ducked into the little op shop down the road and left with this little clip on bow tie.
Almost as soon as I got home I clipped it onto the floral shirt I was wearing and instantly felt happier. What can I say, bow ties are FUN. I love the androgynous feel it gives to an outfit...even if you are wearing florals!
This lovely lady looks good in one...

and as I'm sitting here musing on bow ties and reading blogs I'm also listening to the Nowhere Boy soundtrack.
So here is a little vintage tune for you're Saturday night...I like to imagine that wearing a bow tie makes me a wild one :)

I love bow ties, the only one I own is a bright red velvet one, so it doesn't really get much use, but I love the look.

Im sooo glad I found this blog..I adore my black bow tie too. Its a clip on and its satin..I wear it with absoulutely everything. Anything with a collar, i clip it on cardigans, if it can clip il wear it.. Its adds an edge to the girly outfits i like to wear.
